Vaccinations

We are aware that some vets are using a grace period of up to 6 months from when vaccinations are due, because of Covid.

We have checked this with Monmouthshire County Council.  They say it has been discussed in Welsh Government and dogs are not allowed to come into kennels if they are overdue for any of their vaccinations and that the annual vaccination cut off date is 12 months.  They said to please tell your vet that your dog needs their annual vaccinations and Kennel Cough vaccination to be in date in order to come into kennels.

We are always happy to check vaccination cards in advance of a stay, or please check with your vet.

Thank you!

Keep your dog safe from Kennel Cough

Local vets are seeing more cases of Kennel Cough at the moment.

Please do make sure all vaccinations including for Kennel Cough are kept up to date for your dog.

Please keep your dog away from kennels if they are showing symptoms of a respiratory illness.

Keep safe and well!

10 years of Bluebell Country Kennels

We have been running our kennels for 10 years today, we opened on 2 July 2011!  Our first dog staying was a lovely Rottweiler.

Some of you have been bringing your dogs for all or most of the ten years and some have found us more recently!

Thanks to all of you for your support.

Here is James not long after we moved here.
